Llewellyn Smith to lead UK fusion programme

Chris Llewellyn Smith has been appointed director of the Culham laboratory in the UK. In addition to being the focus of fusion research in the UK, the Culham laboratory also operates the world’s leading fusion experiment - the Joint European Torus (JET) - on behalf of the European Fusion Development Agreement (EFDA).
